2026 CALIFORNIA PAL MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION/RENEWAL

California PAL Membership Renewal Application is available by filling out the online form located below.  When filling out the form, please make sure to fill out the information as completely as possible and also do your best to fill out your various youth statistics, especially your total youth served and gender/age breakdowns.  This information is crucial for CALPAL to use as we continue to apply for funding and other program grants.

For 2026, we are looking forward to adding a couple of new statewide CALPAL programs to our calendar including adding our Southern California CALPAL Camporee and bringing back our Life After High School conference.  While we will still be offering many of our various PATHWAY programs, we will also be focusing on providing our statewide educational, athletic and youth enrichment statewide programs that give PAL/SAL youth the opportunity to participate in a statewide or super-regional program.

We are also still partnered with MWG Mestmaker & Associates Insurance, for 2026.  This insurance program is ONLY offered to members of California PAL.   To renew your insurance policy, plese remember that it is seperate from the CALPAL renewal and the forms will need to be downloaded, filled out and then mailed in to Mestmaker along with payment for your insurance policy.

Thank you again for being a member of California PAL.  Together we are the strongest and most influential statewide PAL organization in the country and with our new direction, we will continue to become even stronger and be able to offer even more benefits to our member chapters in the future.   We look forward to your membership in 2026 and to help your program be the best that it can be!

Respectfully,

Jennifer Lopez, Executive Director

Bryan Ferreira, Director of Operations

PAL/SAL/YAL Agency Data

Please verify your PAL/SAL/YAL website is working. This is the link we will use on the CALPAL website. If you do not have an official website, use the link to the PAL or Community Services page of your official city/county or department website.
Please ensure that this ID number is accurate when submitting for membership.
All PAL/SAL/YAL chapters should have a current Secretary of State Business Entity Number. If you do not have this info, you can go to the CA SOS website at: https://bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov/search/business and do a search for your chapter. This will also let you know if your chapter is in compliance with tax or information filings.
Drag & Drop Files, Choose Files to Upload
If you have updated your PAL/SAL logo since last year, please upload a copy so that we have the correct one on file for use on the CALPAL website. You can upload a JPG, PNG, PDF, TIF or BMP file.

PAL/SAL/YAL Contact Information

Please make sure to include the Executive Director as one of the contact's listed below. The Executive Director is typically the PRIMARY VOTING DELEGATE for a PAL chapter but does not have to be. You can change or update the voting delegate during the year by contacting CALPAL if needed.
(Typically a PAL/SAL program director or Board of Directors contact)

Additional E-mail Contacts

These addresses can be used to add any additional staff or board contacts to the California PAL E-mail Distribution List. These e-mails will contain program, funding and other important organization information. During the year, any changes to these e-mail addresses can be made by contacting California PAL.

PAL/SAL/YAL Youth Demographic Information

California PAL is continuing to track PAL Youth Demographic data for use when applying to state and federal level grants and funding opportunities. It is very important that we receive this information. Please ensure that it is as accurate as possible. We are looking for an estimate of the number of youth enrolled in your program along with a rough estimate of demographic data. Thank you!

Race/Ethnicity Breakdown:

Do your best to give us an estimation of your chapter's Ethnicity & Race breakdown. Even if you do not officially track that data, please make a best guess estimate. THIS DATA IS IN PERCENTAGE FORMAT!!
If your chapter is purchasing General Liability insurance through another insurance company or if your PAL program is covered by the city or county insurance, please send a certificate of coverage to California PAL (bryan@calpal.org) to be in compliance for 2026 membership. Your California PAL membership will be revoked if you do not carry a current general liability policy with the minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence. If you do have an alternate form of coverage, you are still eligible to purchase D&O or other types of coverage through MWG Mestmaker.
